Paleoecologist and Archaeologist, National Geographic Explorer, Science Communicator, ERYT-500 Certified Yoga Instructor and FFT2 Fire Fighter.
I am a Paleoecologist specializing in the legacy of human land use, cultural burning, and fire management in modern tropical ecosystems. I am currently the Group Leader of Paleoecology at the Max Planck Institute of Geoanthropology in Jena, Germany.
