Paleoecologist, Erstwhile Archaeologist, National Geographic Explorer, Marie Curie Fellow, Science Communicator, and ERYT-500 Certified Yoga Instructor.

 

I am a Paleoecologist specializing in the legacy of human land use, cultural burning, and fire management in modern ecosystems. I am currently a Marie Curie Fellow at the University of Amsterdam.

 

My project FIRE: Fire Intensity in Rainforest Ecotones examines the role of fire in shaping Amazon rainforest-savanna ecotones.
